Once upon a Midnight

She silently drove to her flat,  which was no more her home..
Without the man of her world, the only man she loved for an eternity.. Was no longer her.
All the cozy and crazy moments were tantalizing her darken face.
All the things he said,  all his fake promises were spinning in her head.
She's dizzy and shaking her head in anger,  confining herself for all alleged promises that were no more paralyzing her from inside,  something deep inside's been broken.  Well
She's a wise and brave girl, but how she could be so stupid? What else could make her so lame to trust a guy like Ted?
Yes Ted!
Everyone told her not to get serious about him but she's been avoiding all of her friends, family and all the people who opposed her relationship with Ted.
She's even fought with all of her near and dear ones for him,  she's left her mother crying,  father kneeling her baby brother was taken with the waves.
Everything started in her mind like a picture film.
Though she wanted to cry out loud, but she couldn't.
This was all her mistake...

जानता हूँ मैं तू सो गयी थी मुझे पढ़ते हुए।
पर मैं तो रातभर जगा था तुझे लिखते हुए।
तेरी खूबसूरत आँखों को कमल लिखा मैंने।
तेरे हर लफ्ज़ को एक ग़ज़ल लिखा मैंने।
क्या खता है मेरी मुझे तू ही बता..
अपनी मोहब्बत को ही मेरी कलम लिखा मैंने।

मेरे खुश्क से होंठों में तू चलती है गज़ल सी
आँखों के साए में खिले किसी नील कमल सी
तेरे इश्क से मिली है ये सौगात मुझको
मेरे दिन हैं गुलज़ार और रातें सज़ल सी।

जो खैरात मांगने जाए वो सिकंदर कहा होता है
जो बरसात मांगने जाए वो समंदर कहाँ होता है।
दिल की तकलीफें बयान होती हैं हर लफ्ज़-ए-शायरी से।
कोई शेर किसी शायर के अंदर कहाँ होता है।
